 Billund Sightseeing Flights is a small EU-OPS Company, approved by CAA Denmark to make scenic/pleasure flights, photoflights, and towing flights. Our AOC number is DK-046. This means that we meet the same requirements as other airline- and charter companies regarding safety, maintenance, documentation i.e.
We make tourist sightseeing
flights in the summer (opens from Easter) from Billund international Airport. Billund Airport is the
second largest in Denmark with about
2 million passengers a year.
Our fleet consist of 3 yellow-painted Cessna 172 (see picture above) which can transport
3 adults + 1 child (max 35 kg/70lbs) each - besides the pilot.
The Airport
seeks to limit the noise nuisance of benefit to the environment. Naturally, this
also applies to the Billund Sightseeing Flights. Therefore, flights over LEGOLAND®
and the Zoo
are not available after 7 p.m. After that time we have the pleasure of flying other
destinations.
We have been flying from Billund for 40 years now, showing 2 million passengers LEGOLAND® and the Lion Park, from above.
